The Flight

 

The girls were very excited to fly in an airplane for the first time.  When we told Grace we were going to Japan, her response...."PLEASE tell me we are going on an airplane!"

We flew to Seattle, had an hour layover and then after an hour delay, while we sat on the plane that would take us to Japan, we flew 10+ more hours and landed on a man made island in Japan.

We then had an hour bus ride and a 10 minute walk (with Jim and I pushing 4 suitcases and 2 backpacks between us) to our temporary home in Osaka, Japan.
