Friday evening the plaza across the street hosted the Aloha Festival. There were lots of Hawaiian themed booths, vacation information and hula dancers. Hawaii is a popular travel destination for people who live here. It's about a 5-6 hour flight and there are many places in Hawaii that have things/information translated in Japanese and some people also speak the language...making it more easy to vacation there for people from Japan. Take it from me, being in a place where you can find some people who speak your language, even just a little bit, helps you tremendously!
